Dancing with Light and Shadow

Natures Design with Light & Shadow

Light & Shadow Design and DanceWhen walking into the living room these past few mornings, I’ve been in pure amazement of natures dance with light and shadow. The display of shapes, gradation of grey tones, brilliance of light, continuously change from moment to moment. There are two walls that catch the light and shadow. One wall receives plant and morphic abstractions, and the other wall receives a large area of light where I take part in the shadow dance. One of my favorite nature play activities to do, be it on the wall in my living room, or on a sidewalk at the park. Shadow dancing is light and shadow in motion that embraces the grace and harmony of our inner peace and joy.

Nature’s Sweet Grace.

Totally agree. I love it. It is magical to me to walk out of my bedroom in the morning when the east light is shining into my living room. Usually my mouth comes open with a breath in, astounded by the beauty of the light and shadows. The shadows do change quickly and I find myself wanting them to stay longer than they ever do.
Aaahhhh…..such is life; ever changing and humans ever grasping.
Thanks for the ethereal pictures and you, of course, holding the light.

Isn’t it a miracle when you see the wonder that’s right in front of you?
I burned the steaks for dinner once, and felt drawn to dance in slow-motion with the smoke that found itself twirling in the dark livingroom…pure magic…
